TGIF!

no no not the restaurant, but Thank God It's Friday!

Good Friday is the Friday within Holy Week, and is traditionally a time of fasting and penance, commemorating the anniversary of Christ's crucifixion and death. For Christians, Good Friday commemorates not just a historical event, but the sacrificial death of Christ, which with the resurrection, comprises the heart of the Christian faith.

It didn't just stop there or else it'll be called Bad Friday, Jesus died, hoo-rah, good preaching, let's all go home and continue with life; NOT. 3 days later, he rose again from the dead, encouraged and empowered more lives, gave the apostles a vision to fulfill before ascending into heaven. Again it reminds me the cause I'm living for, the reason I am alive, the reason i breathe, the reason i do things. In this season of thanksgiving and remembrance, is also a season of harvest so let's do our best!

Thank you God for your loving grace and for all that you've done.

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13
