Belated Merry Christmas?

*snaps finger* aiyak...just missed midnight..not Christmas liau..anyhow~

Christmas can be everyday one way or another~ It's all about Jesus, hope we have in Him, all for what He has done, so CELEBRATE His greatness everyday n be THANKFUL!! so its tis' the season to be jolly every season~~ wakakakak...presents, iz nice... (compliments of http://icanhascheezburger.com)

been a while since i updated...few days after coming back KK, posting...few days before leaving to KL, posting..hah..funny...

a LOT has been happening during the weeks that i've been here, it has been somewhat LIFE CHANGING..day by day especially for the past two weeks have been MIND BLOWING...to describe it here, it would not be easy, can't find right words, but i would have to talk with you face- to-face, and...you'll have to allocate a pre-e-e-ty long amount of time to listen...so yeah..but it has been an interesting end of the year, and Christmas, as it has always n will always be a season of thanksgiving, love, hope and giving, was an AWESOME time. I've learnt a lot this year, and truly i look forward to 2008 with great expectations and new inspirations.

Coming back to KK around this time of the year has always been exciting but this year around, God has blessed me so abundantly, and I don't mean physically (although He could work on adding some kilos on me...jk God, i know i gotta eat more) or materialistacally (is there such word??) but He has blessed me emotionally and spiritually...this time around i'm so amazed at how the younger generation doing their part for God's kingdom and looking at how much God has done in the lives of the young people, seeing everyone on Christmas Eve celebration, worshipping together, fellowshipping, hanging out with one another, spending time with one another, "breaking bread" at 88..haha, encouraging and discipling one another, learning and obeying together, praying together..reminds me of Acts 2:42-47. It's a great feeling to be in His presence with His people.

hmmm..Yvonne Yapp juz messaged..Happy Boxing Day and realised ohyaoh...not belated Christmas but its actually Boxing day...when i was young i always thought that boxing day was a day where we get to see boxing competitions happening globally....i know...dot dot dot...but anyway..

The celebration is traditional, dating back to the middle ages, and consisted of the practice of giving of gifts to employees, the poor, or to people in a lower social class. The name has numerous folk etymologies[3]; the Oxford English Dictionary attributes it to the Christmas box; the verb box meaning: "To give a Christmas-box (colloq.); whence boxing-day." -wiki-

..hmmm random post addition..doesn't seem to connect...haha..

so..reverse side-tracking..it was reli a blessing to be back in KK, it was like a retreat for me and refreshing, renewing, revitalising, and so much more r-words, and i've receive an impartation from God via His faithful servants and i'm excited to see what's in store for next year even though architecture thingys..yeah..hmm..haha..God is good, all the time...all the time , God is good..

sigh, KL here i come, as usual im gonna miss KK but i definitely am going to look forward and strive to be the very best of who i am for God and live the destiny He has for me.

SUMMARY: a lot has happenned in Dec 2007, God is good, I love Him, He loves you, watcha gonna do about your own life?

p.s. i've got plentiful pictures of events that happenned so that's gonna wait..its in various cameras so yeah...wait...

Merry Christmas!

Asia for Jesus

phew this week has been AWESOME! i was attending a conference "Asia for Jesus" and it has been LIFE CHANGING. Ps Jaeson Ma and Ps Philip Mantofa, annointed servants of God came with passion for our nation and gave many relevant keys that point out towards bringing across the Gospel to the lost. I've never been so inspired by a man of God to go all out besides Jesus Himself but these two men of God have a spiritual connection with Christ Jesus so close, they show Christlikeness in their faith, attitude, speech, conduct and knowledge. I've learnt so much i dunno what to write...XD... but mainly the thing that strikes me most..that God has placed so dear in my heart is about REACHING OUT. evangelising. we did pratice rounds by just going out into the city to evangelise...and....its NOT EASY. they (ps jaeson n philip) make it seem easy though...

God has placed a conviction in my heart, for my friends who are yet to be saved...always i've wondered how to properly bring across the Gospel and effectively keep new believers on track with Christ...Matt 28:18-20 summarizes

1. GO
2. MAKE DISCIPLES
3. BAPTIZE
4. TEACH THEM TO OBEY

Ps. Jaeson taught us practical ways to achieve this and to get the discipleship...REAL discipleship cycle going on...2 Tim 2:2 mentions about 4 generations of discipleship...from Paul...to Timothy...to faithful men....and unto others....it goes on and on growing and growing and it multiplies. However i was reminded that one has to be prayerful and faithful.

A prayerful life leads to a life of great faith.
Faith without action is dead.
Revival. Reformation. Revolution.
Revival is God's Arrival.

This conference has been really life changing and has brought challenges to me in my walk with Christ. the Great Commission that God has COMMANDED us to fulfill. Winning souls for Christ. Being a radical Christian. Living a prayerful, righteous and faithful life. Literally getting on your knees and praying fervently. Crying out for the salvation of our nation Malaysia. the salvation of my friends and relatives. Loving people. Not converting. Loving. Effectively bringing the Gospel across society. Making disciples of NATIONS.

it makes you wonder....are you a believer? or a disciple of Christ?

i choose to be a disciple...you?

18 Then Jesus came to them and said," All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age."
Matthew 28:18-20

Happy Birthday

Vweee~~ im 2 more years away from voting

haha...today was kinda eventful...finished off last exam paper (20th) was feeling kinda sad knowing the fact that every1's going back home and im gonna b left alone for the week...however, our lecturer planned a class trip to UiTM (Universiti Teknologi MARA) for their portfolio exhibition so it filled up my afternoon....at night we went to 1 Utama for dinner then pre-arranged to watch a 7.45pm movie when the current time was 7.30pm...weee~ there goes all our lessons for time management..hahah...watched Beowulf...good movie...lots of "graphics" anyhow feel thankful and happy that despite my frens natural character that they would go home right after projects or exams, they all stayed back n spent time wif me knowing it was my birthday tmr (21st at time of posting) so yeah...reli appreciated it, thanks also to those who remembered and messaged me 2~~ for those of u who DIDN'T....BEWARE!!! haha...u owe me dinner... >=)

exactly at 12am (21st nov) - was cleaning house with housemates....
1.24am (21st nov) - aik? im 19...

-=edit=-

hmmm its morning (10am) *yawn* hmmm its my birthday...what should i do?

actually all i had in mind was juz to spend the whole DAY watching some movies from my ext hard disk or play games since most of every1 had left for their hometown...or so i assumed...

at 3pm a fren rang me up n invited me to go watch "Stardust"!! finally got to watch it...was good movie but that's another post...so yea, hung out with frens n had dinner n they bought a CAKE! hehe...although it had a moldy strawberry...a cake is still a cake...thought that counts..yea..the thought...haha...

so yeah felt very appreciated and im reli glad that God has blessed me wif so many great frens and this birthday,2007 i'll always rmber n cherish...

fellowship is important n crucial regardless whether its in a spiritual aspect or physical, scientists (heard somewhere) did research on babies who didnt hav the luxury of communication (ppl feed them but no talking..no interaction) eventually they all died...

so yea, spending time wif frens these last few days b4 going back kk has been great eventhough it was only for a short while but it was stil worthwhile... i love my friends =)...all of them kk kl whrever...forever

p.s. my birthday wish (altho not customary to tell) was that my friends WOULD come to know, accept and receive Christ as the living God and Saviour of their lives...hmm more like prayer then wish...haha

the "love" mentioned here is in the context of agape love...no getting wrong ideas... >=)

well not all of it but MOST of it happens to me and my "colleagues" (haha sounds professional) but yeah~ God has given me the strength to overcome it all (Phil 4:13) and He has always, i repeat ALWAYS helped me thru when i need Him most..so architecture students! don't give up! Seek God! or if you don't know Him, ask ME! i'll intro Him with you...hehe

Being a SOMEBODY

A good reminder of God's Love. Every Sunday afternoon, after the morning service at the church, the Pastor and his eleven year old son would go out into their town and hand out Gospel Tracts. This particular Sunday afternoon, as it came time for the Pastor and his son to go to the streets with their tracts, it was very cold outside, aswell as pouring down rain.

The boy bundled up in his warmest and driest clothes and said, "OK, dad, I'm ready."His Pastor dad asked, "Ready for what?""Dad, it's time we gather our tracts together and go out." Dad responds,"Son, it's very cold outside and it's pouring down rain." The boy gives his dad a surprised look, asking, "But Dad, aren't people still going to Hell, even though it's raining?"Dad answers, "Son, I am not going out in this weather."

Despondently, the boy asks, "Dad, can I go? Please?"His father hesitated for a moment then said, "Son, you can go. Here are the tracts, be careful son." "Thanks Dad!"And with that, he was off and out into the rain. His eleven year old boy walked the streets of the town going door to door and handing everybody he met in the street a Gospel Tract.

After two hours of walking in the rain, he was soaking, bone-chilled wetand down to his VERY LAST TRACT. He stopped on a corner and looked for someone to hand a tract to, but the streets were totally deserted. Then he turned toward the first home he saw and started up the sidewalk to the front door and rang the door bell. He rang the bell, but nobody answered. He rang it again and again, but still no one answered.

He waited but still no answer. Finally, this eleven year old trooper turned to leave, but somethingstopped him. Again, he turned to the door and rang the bell and knocked loudly on the door with his fist. He waited, something holding him thereon the front porch! He rang again and this time the door slowly opened. Standing in the doorway was a very sad-looking elderly lady.

She softly asked, "What can I do for you, son?" With radiant eyes and a smile thatlit up her world, this little boy said, "Ma'am, I'm sorry if I disturbedyou, but I just want to tell you that *JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU* and I came to give you my very last Gospel Tract which will tell you all about JESUS and His great LOVE.

"With that, he handed her his last tract and turned to leave. She called to him as he departed. "Thank you, son! And God Bless You!" Well, the following Sunday morning in church Pastor Dad was in the pulpit. As the service began, he asked, "Does anybody have any testimonyor want to say anything?"

Slowly, in the back row of the church, an elderly lady stood to her feet. As she began to speak, a look of glorious radiance came from herface, "No one in this church knows me. I've never been here before. You see, before last Sunday I was not a Christian. My husband passed on some time ago, leaving me totally alone in this world. Last Sunday, being a particularly cold and rainy day, it was even more so in my heart that Icame to the end of the line where I no longer had any hope or will to live.

So I took a rope and a chair and ascended the stairway into the attic of my home. I fastened the rope securely to a rafter in the roof, thenstood on the chair and fastened the other end of the rope around my neck. Standing on that chair, so lonely and brokenhearted I was about toleap off, when suddenly the loud ringing of my doorbell downstairsstartled me. I thought, "I'll wait a minute, and whoever it is will go away." I waited and waited, but the ringing doorbell seemed to get louder and more insistent, and then the person ringing also started knocking loudly.

I thought to myself again, "Who on earth could this be? Nobody ever rings my bell or comes to see me." I loosened the rope frommy neck and started for the front door, all the while the bell rang louder and louder. When I opened the door and looked I could hardly believe my eyes, for there on my front porch was the most radiant and angelic little boy I had ever seen in my life.

His SMILE, oh, I could never describe it to you! The words that came from his mouth caused my heart that had longbeen dead, TO LEAP TO LIFE as he exclaimed with a cherub-like voice,"Ma'am, I just came to tell you that JESUS REALLY DOES LOVE YOU."

Then he gave me this Gospel Tract that I now hold in my hand.As the little angel disappeared back out into the cold and rain, I closed my door and read slowly every word of this Gospel Tract. Then I went up to my attic to get my rope and chair. I wouldn't be needing them any more. You see---I am now a Happy Child of the KING.

Since the address of your church was on the back of this Gospel Tract, I have come here topersonally say THANK YOU to God's little angel who came just in the nick of time and by so doing, spared my soul from an eternity in hell."There was not a dry eye in the church. And as shouts of praise and honorto THE KING resounded off the very rafters of the building, Pastor Dad descended from the pulpit to the front pew where the little angel was seated.

He took his son in his arms and sobbed uncontrollably. Probably no church has had a more glorious moment, and probably this universe has never seen a Papa that was more filled with love & honor for his son...Except for One.

Our Father also allowed His Son to go out into a cold and dark world. He received His Son back with joy unspeakable, and as all of heaven shouted praises and honor to The King, the Father sat His beloved Son on a throne far above all principality and power and every name that is named. Blessed are your eyes for reading this message.

Remember, God's message CAN make the difference in the life of someone close to you.
"Faith is the affirmation and the act that bids eternal truth be present fact."

In conjunction with that, two weeks ago we had Ps. Joakim from Sweden to come over to city harvest and he talked a lot about how we being young as we are, can MAKE a difference in our schools , colleges, unis, or workplace. He gave many testimonies of young people changing other people's lives by just being living examples of Christ.
3 Basic Things i learnt were:
we as the temple of God:

1. The temple of God is visible
2. The temple of God is holy
3. The temple of God is prayerful
God has called us to be the salt and light of the world and YEAH that's what we should be, bringing flavour into people's lives that has the sweetness of God.
Be a visible Christian, be bold in proclaiming your faith!
Be holy for God is holy!
Be prayerful for God hear's the prayers of a righteous person!

To sum it up here's one testimony that touched my heart when Ps. Joakim shared with us.

New Generation Youth has established lots of their members in CFs around Swedish schools. One of them (4got which one) had a fairly small group of young people from NGY who were on fire for God and were prayerful. Valentine's Day was coming up so they decided to do something that could be meaningful to all the students in their school

So, they came up with this idea that they would personally cut out heart shaped cards and write a personal message to over a 1500 students (i think not so sure exact figure, roughly there). So they began their daunting task with faith and courage. And so they completed it just in time for 14th Feb.

On that day, they stuck all the hearts on every locker in the school. Each one was different though a few were similiar examples like,"Have a nice day!", "Smile!" and all those positive greetings.

Then there was this girl that only after two weeks that this project was done, she emailed the director of the NGY group and wanted to express her thanks to them. (This sharing soon became the testimony).

Apparently on that day, 14th Feb, she wanted to commit suicide. For months she had prepared to take her own life by overdose and that particular day she intended to go to school for one very last time and look around one last time. As she was walking to school, not a prayer, she however uttered to herself that if somehow by any chance that she was to be given a sign that her life had significance, she would spare her life, according to Ps.Joakim.

So, as she walked to school, she went to her locker to clear her stuff, she noticed that every locker had these heart shaped thingys with, "Good morning!", "Smile" and all that. Wondering what were they about, she turned to her locker to discover that she had one too and when she saw what was written she was astonished. It wrote,

"Your LIFE has a meaning"

She paused for a moment and kept on staring at the heart cutout card, she went back home and threw away all the stuff she intended to use to kill herself with. After informing the director of NGY group, weeks later she gave her life to Jesus Christ! Amen! Ps.Joakim was informed of the testimony and when he asked the director about the project, the director said that:

out of 1500+ cards we wrote personally, ONLY ONE had "your life has a meaning" and it ended on that girl's locker.

the odds of that happening...only God could be at work. Hallelujah!
So, every1 of us is capable of doing something great for God, we just gotta have faith and obey Him totally. No matter how insignificant you think you are, God has BIGGER plans for YOU.

we use to GLORIFY GOD...

was enriching experience hearing profound speeches and seeing student's works who were like me progressing in a direction that we believe will help to make the world a better living environment...=)

assignments pouring in so gotta manage time well...sigh...

learnt a lot for this month in my course...

i learnt that as architects we don't juz come up with drawings of buildings and symbolically say its for something but we as architects are to become chief builders, problem solvers, decision makers, organized, articulate, and much more that i've discovered...learning architecture is truly a great experience and im glad i chose this path, for those wanting or are interested in enrolling for this course, i gladly encourage u to go for it! though it may be tough and stressful, u'll b busy n hav countless sleepless nights, its WORTH it.

Like i said long b4 in a previous post, God is the greatest architect and im glad im a part of a designing creating building thingy juz like Him! =)
for time being that's all la..tired...

Breaking out of prison can be addictive.

Recently been watching a lot of movies during my remaining week in kk...amongst the horden of films, one has been quite entertaining so far...i had just finished watching the entire season of HEROES and had nothing to watch, a friend suggested prison break, told me it was nice, so after much procrastination and delay, i finally got my hands on a full 1st season n a half 2nd season of PRISON BREAK so i watched it, AND ITS SO ADDICTIVE!!!

Despite it having bullets whizzing thru, always missing the starring but sometimes hitting a limb or two for drama, blood spilt in almost every episode, abusive language, and good ol' punching and kicking, it makes you wonder, how far are you willing to go for a loved one?

It has a strong sense of family, well some in a pretty weird way...

the starring wants to save his brother,
the starring's brother wants to save his son,
the starring's dad wants to fix his family,
the "president" is "protecting" her brother,
the infirmary doctor wants to be close with her father,
an ex-US soldier wants to be back with his family,
a Mexican wants to start a family,
a mafia boss wants to start a new beginning with his family,
a secret service agent sacrifices himself for family,
a FBI agent wants to keep his family safe with his secrets,
it goes on and on and on...

Its really a good series which i find enjoyable...the plot derives of a conspiracy of the government and corruption of its community that takes away the freedom and lives of innocent individuals but also shows the indigenuity of a brilliant man together with some comrades who try to make things right so that they can get their lives back.

I give this series a 8 out of 10. Can't wait for season 3!!! WAhaAHahhAHahHa!!! *cough*

This series is totally fictional and has nothing to do with the present governments mentioned.

God is the Greatest Architect.

Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."

Day 1: Light created, night and day divided

Day 2: Heaven created dividing waters above and below

Day 3: Earth and plants are created

Day 4: Lights created to mark seasons and stars too

Day 5: Birds and sea creatures are created

Day 6: Wild beasts, livestock and reptiles are created, Man and Woman are then created.

Day 7: God finishes and rests, blessing and sanctifying the 7th day

Genesis 1:31
"God saw all that he had made, and it was very good..."

Creation. How our universe and world came to be just by the utterance of God's voice. It's amazing when u think about it, the world continues to seek a Unified Theory that unites all theories and explains the very meaning why we exist yet we Christians have the answer right here, in the Word of God.

Psalms 139:13-14 mentions how we were created in such an amazing way! Imagine God thought of you before Day 1! He planned so far ahead of time to match the suitable parents with the genetics, character, background etc that will make you who YOU are! By His grace He guided you in life to mould you who you are today!

The amazing thing is how God is such a GREAT designer! Even from a human's perspective us humans can be really complex. Leonardo da Vinci drew hundreds of sketches of the human anatomy that he *bleh* dissected and showed that the human anatomy is a miracle considering how it functions and sustains life. That is only physical. Human emotions can be as equally complex and hard to understand. But the most eluded by mankind is spiritually. Scientists struggle to explain the unexplained and come up with various theories but man still searches for spiritual satisfaction because God created us to have a relationship with Him.

Right now, at this moment as I'm writing this, I'm reminded of God's grace for us. His love is so wonderful and He created us, to love us and to be loved back. God is just so great! No words can describe how supercalifragilisticexpialidocious good He is!

Well, God remains as the ultimate architect that no other man can compete, come on, he created a universe by just saying it, I don't think any Frank-Llyod Wright can do that, ever. He designed us in such a remarkable way that it shows God is real and He is in control! Look up at human anatomy facts and you'll be surprised by your own body. =)

Sudirman Cup

Before Sudirman Cup: Malaysia Boleh!!!
During Sudirman Cup: Malaysia Boleh!
After Sudirman Cup: Malaysia Boleh?

Just when i thought Malaysia was gonna pull through, they failed to so again, losing to Denmark 2-3 then settling for 6th place. Lee Chong Wei however put up a brilliant fight against China's world no.1 Lin Dan breaking China's run of not losing a single point in the Sudirman Cup.
Hooray! He deserves a clap! *A clap *

Malaysia's form is rather disappointing, although I might not be in the position to say so but our nation has high expectations for them. I mean, look around Malaysia, almost every where you can find people old and young playing badminton, and I'm pretty sure if ESPN is showing badminton on astro, pre-e-etty much everybody will be watching.

Losing a game is NOT a big deal but its how u play the game. Sportmanship counts a lot and its hard to find in players nowadays with publicity and royalty that comes with the very fact of just winning. I was really impressed with the Indonesian players (yeah Christian badminton players! woohoo!) who despite losing and seemed to be the underdogs in viewer's eyes, would fight to the finish, and ACTUALLY win, making miraculous comebacks for people to remember.

Recently been playing badminton a LOT...i mean a LOT. Almost everyday particularly this week. Tired but happy. (I missed playing badminton for 4 months+ since moving to uni). Today played badminton with the same ol' gang from youth.

Oscar=Ouch.

yeah, ouch. Whilst talking to david, i "kissed" a badminton racquet.
haha. don't worry oscar, no hard feelings.

tired. China winning Sudirman Cup now against Indo, i guess they're gonna win....again...
well, Malaysia...hmm...Boleh la.
